New album news, Three Aces tour

Hi Everyone, Warner here

2017 has already been a crazily busy year, but there's no let up and I'm pretty excited about what's coming this fall, so thought I'd share.

As some of you may know, I've been working on the follow up to Gunslinger and this new album, tentatively titled "Ghost On The Road" Is set for release in September. Initially it'll be out on CD, but I'd love to release it on vinyl too. What do you think? If you'd be interested in buying a vinyl copy, please send me a message (on Facebook or through the contact form at https://warnerehodges.com/contact

Playing on the album as well are my buddies - Joe Blanton, Dan Baird, Brad Pemberton, and Jerry Dale McFadden of The Mavericks. I've also been fortunate enough to persuade Tom Petersson of Cheap Trick fame to play bass on the album. Yes, THAT Cheap Trick!

Every artist always feels that their latest album is their best yet, but I truly believe that this is something special, so, with that in mind, I wanted to do something I hadn't done before to promote the album.

So, I'll be hitting the road in October in Europe as part of a special package also featuring Eric Ambel and Webb Wilder. For those of you who don't know the names, check out http://ericambel.com/https://www.facebook.com/roscoenyc/https://www.webbwilder.com Two great artists in their own rights and I'll be playing guitar with each of them as well as performing my own set every night. We have shows booked in the U.K., The Netherlands, Germany and Sweden. A full list will be published here next week.

Before that, Homemade Sin play a fortnight's worth of American shows in September and straight after the package tour, I rejoin Homemade Sin for shows in Norway, Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands and the UK. These will be during the second part of October and the first two weeks in November. For more info please go to: http://www.danbairdandhomemadesin.net

I'll be coming home for Thanksgiving, and playing a one off show with Jason And The Scorchers as special guests to Blackberry Smoke on the 24th November in Atlanta. Jason And The Scorchers will also be doing the 2018 Outlaw Country Cruise (leaving from Port of New Orleans on January 22nd). For more info go to: https://jasonandthescorchers.com or visit our Jason And The Scorchers Facebook page.

All of which means that something had to give, and so it's with a heavy heart but a bucketful of great memories that I’m telling you that I will no longer be a part of the Drivin n Cryin touring line up. I've had three fantastic years, and want to publicly thank Kevn, Tim and Dave, as well as Clay and Chris, for their camaraderie. Anyone who knows DNC knows that they have a habit of enticing great guitarists to play with them, and they now have Laur Joamets to hold the fort down. I'm sure they'll be fine! Go see them. They will always be great! Hopefully, I'll be able to play some more shows with them down the road. Please visit DNC at: http://www.drivinncryin.com or at the Drivin N Cryin' Facebook page.

Thanks Y'all. Hope to see all of you at a show somewhere soon.
