Soul Shaker - the brand new album from The Warner E. Hodges Band

Soul Shaker is the brand new album from The Warner E. Hodges Band.

The album was recorded at Underground Treehouse in Nashville, and marks the first time the band have all been able to be in the studio at the same time. Resulting in a sound which is both tighter and looser at the same time.

Also featuring; Brad Pemberton (Ryan Adams/Bluefields/Steve Earle) on drums, with producer/engineer extraordinaire Joe Blanton contributing Backing Vocals and Acoustic Guitars, and Dan Baird contributing Electric Guitar and Bass on a couple of numbers.

Highlights include the barnstorming opener “That Rock and Roll”, a rocking cover of the JD Miller classic “I’m A Lover, Not A Fighter” made popular by Dave Edmunds, and Ben’s debut WEHB songwriting credit “Shine”.
